Overview of the position

Growth Experts is hiring a Director of Operations who can turn our vision into a rock-solid operational strategy.

This is a critical role for someone who loves solving challenges, streamlining processes, and ensuring every part of the business works like clockwork.

You’ll oversee our daily operations, guide the team to execute at a high level and play a key role in scaling Growth Experts to hit its goals.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Execution

  • Work with the Founder to shape and execute our long-term strategy, turning vision into actionable plans.
  • Keep everyone focused on the goals that matter most by aligning resources, priorities, and efforts.
  • Oversee budgets, forecasts, and planning to ensure we hit revenue and profit targets.

Operational Leadership

  • Build, refine, and manage systems that keep everything running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Ensure every department follows best practices and aligns with the company’s core values.
  • Own the organizational scorecard, using it to monitor performance and address any red flags early.

Team Management & Development

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team that’s motivated, collaborative, and accountable.
  • Champion a culture of learning, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent development to ensure we attract and retain the best people.

Communication & Alignment

  • Act as the glue between teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on priorities.
  • Filter and focus the Founder’s ideas, turning them into clear initiatives for the team.
  • Ensure everyone in the company knows where we’re going and how we’re getting there.

Problem Solving & Process Improvement

  • Tackle issues head-on, resolving challenges quickly and effectively.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize processes, making operations scalable and efficient.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and follow-through at every level of the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 10 years in a senior operations role, ideally in an agency or fast-growing business.
  • A proven track record of driving results, achieving growth, and managing P&L.
  • Strong leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and guide teams.
  • Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) or similar frameworks is a plus.

  • Successful completion of quarterly and annual “Rocks” (key goals).

Additional Details

  • Compensation: Industry and experience-related.
  • Location: Fully remote within South Africa, with flexibility in working hours.
  • Travel: Minimal, as needed for team events or client engagements.
